Z zimnem znika | Disappears with the Cold (2024)
printing on cotton, appliqué on foil
150 x 100 cm
The installation tells the story of a plant that grew in front of the artist’s house during the summer. Among many others, it went unnoticed — its presence seemed constant, almost self-evident. It was only in the autumn, when the days grew shorter and the petals began to fade and fall, that the artist recognized its fragile beauty. The work is a reflection on transience, attentiveness, and the human need to hold on to what inevitably disappears.
