Gabriela Piwar is an intermedia artist. She graduated from the Faculty of Media Art and the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She is a co-creator of the Projekt Parsęta, dedicated to the Parsęta River along its section flowing through the village of Krosino.

In her artistic practice, she explores relationships between humans, plants, and natural phenomena, creating installations, textiles, and sculptural objects. Her work is often based on collecting, documenting, and transforming elements of the natural environment, as well as the narratives and histories connected to them.

Her works have been presented, among others, at the 15th edition of the WARSZAWA W BUDOWIE festival, within the 5th International Contemporary Sculpture Symposium at the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, and in the young art exhibition “Rooms 2022” in Prague. She is the recipient of the ENTRY Initiative Award 2025 and a scholarship holder of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in 2023.
