In “Kontra” I touched on the problem of excessive self-control, self-fulfillment, which is the result of having exorbitant expectations towards oneself. I present moments of realization when one has fallen into a certain pattern and the process of questioning and then changing it.
This change is related to allowing yourself to lead life at the speed that we feel is appropriate at the moment, which is why my artwork is based on changes of pace. A particularly important aspect for me was to show that apart from this variable, nothing else happens - doing things at our own pace, we don't ruin the surrounding reality.
I included the rhythm, and at the same time, the passage of time in the choreography, the components of which are selected activities from everyday life:
SLEEPING
EATING
WASHING
TRAINING
WORKING
MEETING
READING
I decided to use this sequence of actions, because they are quite universal and easy to read in terms of changing days, and the flow of life.
